MLQ 360 Leader's Report

The MLQ 360 Leader's Narrative Report brings home the relationship between the leader's perceptions and those of the raters. It shows how best to use the MLQ data, explains Full Range Leadership, and provides tips for improving leadership. The Narrative report is available with an aggregate of data from your organization and in comparison to 2,028 representative ratings of leaders (general norms). The report includes the optimal target ranges for leadership behaviors. It is ideal when used along with the MLQ Leader's Workbook (see below on this webpage)

The MLQ 360 Leader's Narrative report is colorful, graphic and provides extensive information about using the MLQ for development and for understanding the leadership model. It is based on the MLQ 360 (Form 5X Short - the benchmark)both the Leader/Self and Rater forms.

Full online assessment and reporting for the MLQ is available in English, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

How to create a multi-rater campaign using Mind Garden's new Transform system
When setting up your Leaders (Participants) in Mind Garden's Transform system, you will be able to request a name (norm name) for your normative group. This option is available if you wish to include in each report the aggregate scoring of all the raters across all the leaders in your group (self ratings not included). You will need to select the norm before you enter your participants.
If you want a language other than English (options are Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese) you will need to contact Mind Garden before ordering.

Multirater Narrative Feedback

The narrative feedback included in the MLQ report provides additional comments for the Leader. Raters receive the following three open-ended questions; all comments will be included in the report:

What are two or three things that would help this leader be more effective?
One thing that gets in the way of this leader's effectiveness is...
What I admire most about his/her leadership is...

MLQ Manual & Sampler Set

The MLQ Manual and Sampler Set, 3rd Edition, includes information on administration, interpretation, validity and reliability of the MLQ (Form 5X Short - the benchmark) as well as extensive research conducted with the MLQ. It also includes chapters on development, theory, use and topics such as gender differences and diversity.

This Manual includes a non-reproducible copy of the MLQ 360 Form 5X Short (both Leader/Self and Rater forms) along with scoring methodology and tips for scoring.

The MLQ Trainer's Guide is a resource tool designed to aid the trainer in developing a workshop for teaching the Full Range Leadership model and for how to use the MLQ to create positive behavioral change. It is suitable for beginning and advanced trainers. Includes all materials necessary to run a one or day and a half workshop: an MLQ resource guide, exercise descriptions, a PowerPoint presentation (v.1997 required) and reproducible masters for handouts or overheads. MLQ Leader's Workbook

This workbook helps leaders to expand their qualities of transformational leadership. Leaders develop a Leadership Development Plan (LDP) based on the results of the MLQ 360 Leader's Report. It contains developmental behaviors for each MLQ scale and item. Leadership is examined with respect to its relevance to work as well as being examined in the broader context of the life space of the leader.

Since so many behaviors are provided, this is best used by a consultant, teacher or trainer who selects pages to reproduce based on the leader's developmental goals. However, it can also be used by a self-guided leader who sets developmental goals and is willing to work to reach them.
